| A sedan is a passenger car with a body style of a modern automobile. It is designed with two rows or seats and a separate trunk at the rear for storing luggage. It can seat four to five passengers – two in front and two to three at the back. It has a fixed roof at full height that extends from the windshield to the rear window. It can come in two-door and four-door models.

Fastback sedan
- A fastback sedan is a two-box sedan – one box for the passengers and another for the trunk. The passenger box blends seamlessly with the trunk box.
- It has an ergonomic and aerodynamic design that provides excellent speed and performance.
- It uses a high-performance engine such as an eight- or 12-cylinder engine that consumes fuel fast.
- It is equipped with safety features such as safety belts and twin air bag system.

Transmission: For increased performance and fuel economy, choose a sedan that operates using manual transmission. However, if you want easy and convenient driving and if speed is not an issue to you, go for a sedan with an automatic transmission.
