ATV Rack : What is it?
 ATV racks are used to hold various supplies such as food, clothing, and riding equipment on an ATV. They are mounted at the rear of the ATV, either hooked onto a rack or sitting on top. They are usually made of steel or aluminum, and specially shaped to fit behind the ATV seat. |
Kinds of ATV Racks include the following:
Gun racks GTV gun racks have U-shaped holders that fit over the barrel of large guns and rifles. The guns are secured by tying cords or elastic bands over the barrel. Drop racks Drop racks hold general supplies such as water jugs, food, and equipment bags. They are usually box-shaped and made of steel mesh or aluminum tubing. Can holders Can holders have small compartments for holding drink cans, gas cans, and hydration packs. They are made of metal tubing and may contain one or more compartments. |
Material. Choose an aluminum ATV rack for light equipment such as clothing and food and water containers. For guns and hunting equipment, choose a steel tubing or mesh rack. Make sure the rack is lightweight and will not affect your balance while riding. Storage. Choose an ATV rack with several compartments for organizing your equipment. Look for one with hydration compartments, bag holders, and gun supports. |
