ATV sprayers are large tanks that spray water or chemicals onto planted soil. They attach to the rear of the ATV and emit fine mists of water from rotating nozzles. They are available in different capacities, usually ranging from 15 to 50 gallons. They are commonly used to water or fertilize large areas such as farms, lawns, and gardens.
Stationary ATV Sprayers are mounted behind the ATV seat, either placed in the basket rack or secured by cords. They spray only from a fixed position and provide limited range. The user has to steer the ATV to direct them to specific spots. They come in smaller capacities from 15 to 25 gallons.
Trailer ATV Sprayers are loaded onto a pull-behind cart or trailer. The trailer can be moved to direct the spray over a wider area. They are available in capacities up to 50 gallons or more.
Tank material. Choose an ATV sprayer with a polyethylene tank if you want a high-capacity sprayer. These lighter than steel tanks and will be easier on the rack or trailer. If you spray chemical fertilizers, make sure the material is corrosion-resistant.
Nozzle type. Choose an ATV trailer with an adjustable cone nozzle that allows you to switch between spot and area spraying. Look for one with adjustable pressure and flow rate to give you more spray options.
