ATV Tire : What is it?
| ATV tires are the exceptionally huge and thick rubber tires used in ATVs (all-terrain vehicles) for navigating through muddy, rocky, and root covered terrain and other off-road surfaces. They are high-volume, low-pressure tires designed to deliver a great amount of traction over all kinds of terrains. They can stand tremendous abuse and deliver long-standing performance when treated and maintained properly.
The most important rule to follow when taking care of ATV tires is to maintain the correct tire pressure specified by the tire manufacturer. Under-inflated tires can lead to sluggish turns, cut sidewalls, or bent rims. Over-inflated tires, on the other hand, can cause premature tire wear down at the center. |

Type: As much as possible, stick with OEM ATV Tires for good, all-around performance especially if you are not specializing on any terrain or competing. Specialized tires, especially the large ones with more aggressive tread patterns, can come with compromises such as rougher or noisier ride, boggy engine performance, and diminished traction in other terrains.
