ATV Trailer : What is it?
| ATV utility trailers are used for transporting heavy loads with an ATV. They attach to the rear of the ATV through the trailer hitch, and usually have small single or tandem wheels that allow them to be towed behind. They can be used to carry farm supplies, furniture, or even small vehicles. Some trailers open at the back for dumping grains or seeds, or unfold into ramps for loading other vehicles. |

Capacity. Choose an ATV utility trailer with a capacity over 1,000 pounds for transporting heavy items like farm equipment and motorcycles. Also consider the total weight of the vehicle you want to load, including the gas, equipment, and accessories. Wheels. For large trailers, look for one with tandem-axle wheels to increase speed and reduce the power drawn from the ATV. With two wheels pushing the trailer on each side, the load is better distributed and they roll faster than single-axle trailers. |
