Clay Bar : What is it?
| A clay bar is a cleaning product used for removing deposits embedded in car paint such tree sap, tar remains, grains of metal, airborne environmental deposits, rail dust, and paint overspray. It makes rough surfaces smooth to prepare them for polishing or waxing. Used after washing a car with car wash soap and water, it is applied together with an instant detailer or clay lubricant that works like a shaving cream. It is swiped over a rough area using light to moderate pressure. Excess lube is buffed off with a microfiber towel. |
