High ground clearance: For use outside official go kart tracks, choose an off-road go kart with a high ground clearance of at least six inches that allows you to maneuver better on roads with bumps or potholes.
Controls: Before purchasing a go kart, take it out for a test drive first to check if everything is working properly especially the signal lights, parking brake, headlights, and kill switch.
