Guide to Hybrid Vehicles
A hybrid vehicle (HV), also known as a hybrid-electric vehicle (HEV), uses two power sources – an internal combustion engine and an electric battery – to power its electric motor. It comes in different forms such as hybrid cars, hybrid trucks, and hybrid vans. A hybrid vehicle typically features a generator that produces the electric power, a fuel tank, a transmission engine that puts it in gear, and a battery. Because of its two distinct power sources, it is able to generate more power to keep it going for long. It has reduced emissions, making it environment-friendly.
