In light of the bad reviews of many of the other scooters, I decided to buy this one locally at Walmart in case I had to take it back. I paid a little bit more but it gave me more piece of mind. At least I could see the box of the one I was buying and could tell it wasn't damaged. This scooter's battery lasts much longer than I had expected. We can ride on it about an hour before it wears out. I weigh about 200 lbs and I was surprised that it had no problem going uphill with me at the wheel. But I would not go below 500 watts. I considered the 1000 watt unit but it's just too expensive. I expected this scooter to be completely silent but it's not. It makes a whining sound when in use. This is FAR better than the gas scooters though. If you get a gas scooter, your neighbors will hate you! At least with this one you are not disturbing the entire neighborhood. The body is made of sturdy metal and it feels well put together. I would stray away from the cheaper brands that are made of plastic. You wouldn't want a scooter cracking and falling to pieces going 15 miles per hour with you or your kid on it! The speed is pretty good as well. It goes about as fast as I would want something of this size to go. The only thing it's missing is a light. You can get one of those for $20. If you're going to drop a few hundred dollars on a scooter, it makes sense to pay a few dollars more for a name brand unit like this one. I am so glad I did.

I paid more then my local retail cost for this scooter. however, I wanted 2 and my local retailor only had one in stock. The scooter is a nice little scooter that does what was expectted of it. I weigh 190 lbs, and I go around 8 miles on one charge. I use this scooter a few times a week.

We bought this for my 10 year old daughter. She loves it. So far we are very pleased with it also. It is well built and is reasonably fast and powerful. Sometimes my 10 year old and 12 year old ride it together up a hill and it goes just fine. Once summer arrives we will know how long the battery lasts since we can use it more.

I bought this scooter for my 12 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves it! It shipped from Target, and arrived quickly. Quick setup and very easy to operate. I experienced no problems with the operation of the scooter. It works flawlessly, so far. If that changes, I will update my review. Thanks Amazon for a great gift!

really good scooter only 200 $$ and works great.assembly is easy (just dont lose the parts).the battery was in fine condition. it really does go up to 16 miles per hour and lasts over an hour of run time well at least for me it did.it works in all terrain snow, dirt, rocks, cement, grass woodchips etc.its great veihcle it has a thing that says weather its full ,half full, or almost empty. it arrived within about 3 4 days.it also has really easy seat to slide in and out and the handlebars can fold up and the front wheel can easily come off if u want it to. i like to do tricks on it and its really strong no rattles when i do pop-a-wheelies or go off jumps really fun too.over all a 5 star scooter a really great awesome scooter.BUY IT
