Guide to Baby Bouncers

Baby Bouncer : What is it?

BabyBouncers1

Baby bouncers simulate the rocking motion of a person's arms to help babies fall asleep. They are made up of a fabric seat or harness on a frame, which vibrates or moves up and down to keep a baby soothed and relaxed. They may also include small bells, whistles, or recorded lullabies to help put a baby to sleep. Most models also have variable vibration settings to suit the baby's preferences, as well as timers that automatically turn off the vibration after a preset time.

Framed baby bouncers can cause injuries when not used properly. To stay safe, never carry your baby while strapped to the bouncer seat. Use the bouncer canopy when placing the bouncer outdoors. Also, never leave your baby unattended when they are strapped to a door bouncer.
