Bra size: Before buying a maternity bra, make sure you have accurately measured your bra size. To determine your maternity bra size, measure the diameter of your ribcage under your breasts while wearing your current bra. Add five inches to the measurement you get. If you get an odd number, add one to get your band size. An even measurement automatically results to your band size. To get your bust measurement, measure the fullest part of your breasts while wearing your current bra. You are a cup A if the measurement is an inch over your band size. Zip front: Choose an exercise maternity bra with a zippered front that allows you to put it on and take it off easily. Exercise maternity bras have wide backs that do not have the hook and eye closures of traditional bras. |
