| Mobiles (also called baby mobiles) are toys suspended over the crib to provide focus and entertainment to babies. They can move with the wind or with the aid of batteries. Baby mobiles are very handy for amusing babies while changing their diapers or for soothing them when they cry or refuse to go to sleep. They are colorful and whimsical additions to nurseries. |

Wind-operated Mobiles
Wind-operated Mobiles usually require winding to operate. Some models can play music while they rotate. hey are durable and long lasting, and are available in different sizes, shapes, colors, and styles.
Battery-operated Mobiles
Battery-operated Mobiles have motors that allow automatic rotation. They typically have on-and-off switches so they do not require winding. Most models play music as they rotate. Some even come with remote controls. Unlike wind-operated models, they rotate constantly.
However, they are generally expensive to maintain especially since their batteries need to be replaced regularly. Also, Battery-operated Mobiles are not very durable. They stop functioning when the motors break down.
