I used two of these for my daughter for over a year. I even put them in the washer in a mesh bag and then air dried them - I think they say to only surface wash. She chewed on them without problems. I'm now buying fresh ones for our second baby. They're too cute!

It's a really cute clip but... there are some cons. The clip is large and is uncomfortable when the baby lays on it. Another con is that it has to be clipped far away from the babies mouth, my baby started eating/licking the fur off of the lamb.
Overall it's an adorable clip but I'd suggest that it wouldn't be your primary pacifier clip.
