The DJ Baby Walker tray promotes development by allowing child to experiment with music and rhythm. The DJ tray can be easily mounted on Chicco strollers with the included straps. This saved my daugther's sanity!!! - Madre in SD, Jun 12, 2008

My daughter is currently pregnant with her second child and her first child was just learning to crawl and pull herself up when she called me in desperation, "Mama, I need help." Unfortunately she lives in MO and we are in San Diego so the best thing I could do was go online to Amazon and look for something to help. I was a little leery about walkers because of their reputation but thought I would investigate.

Everything I buy on Amazon for my family and especially my grandchildren is purchased because of the reviews from young parents. I have been out of the loop for a long time so I trust the folks who give their very honest assessments of how things work. The day my daughter received the walker, she put my granddaughter in it and away she went!

They have a small home but do have wooden floors and she called me laughing saying that she was flying back and forth and for the first time in a long time she actually could sit down without a baby clinging to her expanding belly and take a breather.

Although she has learned how to walk now, she still uses the walker as a method of getting around and still delights in the musical doodads on board. She will be one year old and of course my daughter is saving it for the birth of our next child.
By the way, I always first try to purchase everything I buy "used" not only to help with the cost but to leave a smaller footprint on our planet by giving life and another chance to something someone may have only used briefly. I have saved a ton of money that way...also make sure to check out the sellers feedback, that is a must do.

After reading many reviews about accidents massive recall and other things that made us worry about this purchase we finally decided to buy it for 2 simple reasons 1) Helps the baby become mobile 2) Works their coordination and educates them. We tesed the safety blocks in place and they work - I had a go at it on the floor, carpet and finally the stairs. We have a satety gate and also decided to put a solid wood chair just for to be cautious. For safety we have done our best and still keep an eye on the little one. The music and keys work - lights all flash. Initially I had a problem with the keys sticking - I had to clean the unit and the walker thoroughly before letting the baby play and I guess that did the trick. We love the Chico Baby Walker and couldn't be more happy about it.

Our son was just 4 months old when my parents bought this walker for him. It took maybe a week for him to figure out how it works, and now he is flying through the house in it. Logan loves the toys, lights and music on the removabe tray. I love the fact that it will grow with him given the 3 hight settings. The walker glides easly and base is wide so there is no worry of tipping over. Just the best walker!

I purchased this walker for my 5 1/2 month old son. I loved it from the moment I pulled it out of the box. The colors are great and the sounds/songs aren't annoying like many of his other toys. He is approx 29.5in with longs legs and we had to put the walker at the tallest setting from day 1. I wish there was just one more setting higher so that he will be able to use it longer. My nephew, who is 10 months and about 30in/26lbs was able to use it with ease because he isn't as "leggy". It's an adorable walker- all around!!! I love the price and features as well! The brakes are great but you still have to keep an eye on them at all times around stairs. They do stop the walker instantly but I don't trust them completely because you just never know. Putting together is a snap as well! I would definitely recommend this walker to everyone! Just needs one additional height adjustment, in my opinion.

I love this walker. It has 2 different height settings and a really ALIVE entertainment setting, which also converts into a tray. It has 2 settings on the noise level which helps when you have the "baby screaming" headache. And its very cute.
