Rating : Sturdy, nice looking crib - S. Bryant, May 15, 2008
I was concerned about purchasing a crib with a stationary (static) rail. I have read reviews on other cribs in which people complained of the difficulty reaching over the front rail to get the baby. That is not the case with this crib. The front rail is roughly 34"H. I have absolutely no problem getting my son in and out & I have the mattress on the lowest setting. I also had no problem attaching a mobile to this crib.(back or sides work)The crib is a pretty cherry color and seems very sturdy. A good deal for the price. To top it all off...it was available with SuperSaver Shipping. The crib arrived in 2 days! The manufacturer is located in So Cal....lucky me.
Rating : Sturdy,looks nice and good value. - E. Courtright, Mar 31, 2008
We've had this crib for 6 months now and love it. Our son has used it since we brought him home from the hospital after he was born. The crib was easy to assemble and re-assemble as we've recently moved. It feels very sturdy and the finish is a beautiful, light honey color. We also have the matching changing table/dresser. My only issue with that item is one of the drawer front's kept falling off. I highly recommend this crib. It's good quality especially for the price.
Rating : Nice crib - bellagio, Mar 12, 2008
I bought this crib for my son, he is nice month now and this crib works great for me. The only thing that seemed odd to me is that this crib doesn't have a way to lower the front panel so I can put down my son without stretch too much. But overall, nice crib!
Rating : Scratches if you LOOK at it too hard! - Cindy M. C. Watson, Mar 09, 2008
This crib is gorgeous. The color is perfect, and the style is timeless and gender-neutral. And it converts! Also, it is extremely sturdy, and the mattress rests on a springy steel base, rather than a flimsy fiberboard platform- very important for safety! The only drawbacks are the fact that the side slats are a little thin and flimsy, and the wood scratches sooooo easily. My son is 6 months old, and his crib looks like it's way older. The pretty, stylish bar across the front is just the right height that the button on my jeans touches it every time I lean over it. And I can't even wear a belt anymore after seeing what my belt buckle did to it. (Maybe if I were taller or shorter I wouldn't have this problem? 5'5" buyers beware!) I don't want to think about when he starts getting teeth and chewing on it. He'll probably be able to gnaw off little pieces! I'm hoping that all of the damage will stay contained to the one front bar. I intend to convert it into a full size bed one day, and hopefully ONE of the pieces will remain undamaged to be used as a headboard. Of course, with my son using it as a bed, it probably won't stay undamaged. I hate to have to say this, but if I were buying again, I wouldn't get this seemingly perfect crib. I love it, and I really wish
Rating : Pretty and sturdy - TM, Feb 04, 2008
I have had this crib for nearly a year. It has been through one move with no problems and I haven't had a problem with joints loosening or anything else. It is also light enough that I can easily move it. The two flaws with this crib are that it scratches VERY easily and that the sides come down very low so there is really no way to store anything under the bed. But overall I am quite happy with this crib. Recommended.
