Sturdiest beanbag chair EVER! - Ruffian, Oct 03, 2009

I am in LOVE with this bean bag chair. I bought two to have extra seating in the living room for groups, but now friends just go to them instantly over the couch. Perfect for video gaming. They're so large and comfortable, the material is great and holds up extremely well. I have 2 cats who LOVE to sleep on them. They also like to claw at them a lot but the fabric remains perfect. No marks on them whatsoever and best of all, no puncture marks and no mess! If my cats can't destroy them, nothing can.

note: when they arrive in the plastic bag covers, they had a very strong plastic smell (my boyfriend complained it was horrible and he wouldn't go near them at the time) I let them air out for a few hours and the smell was gone. I used a fabric deoderizing spray to make sure it was gone and they were perfect. I highly recommend these!

First of all, the beanbag itself is very nice; maybe not quite adult-sized but still comfortable! The real problem comes with the over-size shipping fee; the amount is not specified in the listing. It is outrageous; thirty dollars and ninety-nine cents for the beanbag to come wrapped in ripped plastic! Luckily, mine was not damaged; but the plastic was ripped enough so that the item was exposed! For that much shipping, it should come packaged better than that! Beware those extra shipping fees!!

Styrofoam beads are a bit large and not so comfortable. Overall the beanbag is smallish. Excellent quality suede covering and zipper system. The beads are of type that retains their shape and won't lose their compression over time. Not really comfortable for my wife (gift) or myself. Wife is 5-5 and 115 lb. I'm 6-4 305 lb. Because of the larger beads/beans it is kinda hard to wiggle into... you may like it but not us. Too bad because it is nice looking and is of superior quality. I guess I could have refilled it with a different type bean..I gave it to my nephew and he likes it a lot. Maybe you'll like it too.

Came quickly. Its a little better quality then I figured. All in all its a great product!
