The Spokane bunk bed features a soft "Vanilla" finish on solid pine. Multi-functional bunk bed can be assembled as twin over twin bunk or as matching twin beds. Add a set of trundle drawers or a rollout pop-up trundle bed for extra sleep and storage space. Bunk beds are tested and certified by an independent testing laboratory to meet Consumer Product Safety Commission mandatory safety standards and ASTM F1427-01, CFR 1213, CFR 1513 safety specifications. I got this for only $185 (and free shipping) which I can only assume was really a pricing mistake b/c this bed is expensive everywhere else, including on Amazon (where the price was corrected before I even received the bed.)
So at that price for a solid wood bunk bed I really got a great deal.
Shipping was no problem. I received a phone call the day of delivery to make sure I'd be home, and the delivery man dropped it off inside my living room; no problems at all.
The bed really is not the color pictured; much more honey colored. However, it's solid wood so you could sand it down to a lighter color if preferred. And the color under the honey finish is much closer to the pictured color.
I like the bed, but to be honest I would not have paid over $400 for this bed.

Solid wood. Honey colored not Vanilla. Easy to assemble with some proper tools. Amazon.com used CEVA to ship free. Came in 1 week. Awesome!

The product is great. The shipping is a problem. The date given for arrival is the date the delivery service will get the item. That is not the date you will receive the item. They will then call you and set up a time to deliver which can be a week later. Very frustrating!

High Quality materials. Easy construction. Very nice all the way around. I've always felt that bunk beds should be cheaper than they are - but what I want and what I get are different things. You won't be disappointed by craftsmanship.
