Great so far! - diane page, May 18, 2008

With our newborn this is a great (and budget-friendly) pail where we can use non-special trash bags to pitch dirty diapers. The foot pedal is the best -- hands-free was a critical factor in my research -- thanks again to the Amazon community of parents who gave feedback to help us out. I did want to point out the size is just right in that it holds about a day's worth of business. Who needs to store more? One tiny complaint: On hard-wood floors the pail tends to slide a bit when you try to get at it with just your toes, but I think that it just takes a little practice to hit it from the side of the foot. Otherwise will paste a nonstick rubber something to the bottom to solve.

Good for little ones, not so for toddlers... - B. L. Dinger, Mar 06, 2008

For a newborn, you can't go wrong. However, once a little one can pull to standing, this pail is a hazard. There's no latching mechanism so interested toddlers can get into the pail (BLECH!!!!) It's also the least stable pail I've used (I'm an Infant Teacher/Caregiver in a preschool) so IF a little one pulls up while nearby, both the child and the pail can topple. I'm really careful, but if I'm changing two babies consecutively, the one NOT on the table will often TRY to get into it... if you have a toddler (or two), go for something more sturdy like the genie, champ or dekor...

Hands Free! - Peanut Butter and Jelly Maker, Mar 04, 2008

Hands free; no bending, stuffing, and twisting AND watching a rolling baby at the same time like when using the Diaper Genie. You can use grocery bags or inexpensive garbage bags instead of pricey refill cartridges, and a stick-up deodorizer helps with the slight odor when the lid is up. So far there's no odor when the lid is closed but baby's not on solids yet.

My only negitive is there's a compartment underneath the lid for a deodorizing disc that fell off into the garbage and was inadvertently thrown away. It's still a great pail, I just now use a stick-up on the inside.

Great Product! - Julie Schott, Feb 10, 2008

Great product :) I specially like its size, it's big enough, but not so big it is the first thing you see when you enter the room. It also keeps the smell inside it, like other very costly models I've seen, for a fraction of the price. I'm thinking about buying another one soon, I recommend it.

BUY THIS DIAPER PAIL!!!!! - Cali N. Loria, Jan 18, 2008

I took a chance on saving with this 9.99 diaper pail....it is amazing, we had our changing table in our bedroom for a while when our son was first born and I have NEVER ONCE smelled his dirty diapers, and he is a breat fed baby so they are QUITE stinky. I just use VERY CHEAP vanilla scented bags and even when I take it out I smell the vanilla first. What a relief to be able to save a little money!
