Rating : We must be doing something wrong... - Gabrielle Roberts, Apr 23, 2008
The other reviews rave about how the food stays on the spoon...I'm not sure what we're doing, but we must be doing something wrong.
Right now, my daughter is 1, and still used her spoons more as toys than as utensils. I get that. But when I do get food on her spoon and she does get it in her hand and starts moving it to her mouth...the food falls right off.
I got the spoons because of the great reviews that the food miraculously stays on the spoon...but haven't actually experienced that yet.
Disappointed and hoping for better results as we use it more...
Rating : Great product! - V. Wood, Apr 18, 2008
Overall a great product. For whatever reason, food seems to stick to the spoon better. And the curve of the spoon makes it easy for my 21-month old to put food into his mouth. He basically finished feeding himself the whole bowl of mac and cheese the other day. And he is so proud of that. As far as cleaning, I thought food will get stuck in the holes. But it doesn't, so it's easy to wash. The only surprise I had was the color. I expected them to be blue and yellow like the picture, but I got orange and pink, which is ok too.
Rating : The BEST spoons EVER!!!!! - C. Britt, Apr 15, 2008
I try to write short reviews so people don't lose interest. I think all I really have to say is that at 18 months, my daughter STILL wouldn't feed herself, she never tried it much. Usually she would just whine and cry until I fed her. Months of struggle, irritation, worry that she wasn't developing as she should and annoyance passed. I gave her this spoon, she fed herself, and never looked back. BRAVO! I highly recommend these to everyone! I bought more two days after having the first set!!
Rating : Toddler spoons - margeemac, Feb 13, 2008
These spoons are easy for my two and a half year old, twin granddaughters to use. They are able to glide the food from their plate to the spoon. Because of the design, the food stays in the spoon, giving them a sense of accomplishment and independence.
Rating : Spoon works great, if only the little one didn't eat *it* - Robert Reid, Jan 07, 2008
We got a few of these when my older daughter was learning to feed herself. She did great with them. But our youngest, now working on feeding herself, has chewed off the rubberized portion of the handle. I'm not sure if this is something many people will have to worry about. While we thought that our older child chewed lots of things, the younger one puts her to shame.
