The Summer Infant Secure Surround gate is a convenient way to carve out a playing space inside and outside of the house. The 30-inch tall and 32-inch wide durable plastic panels provide 18.5 square feet of play space. Remove two panels (from six to four) to use as a smaller play area or to partition "off limits" objects around the house. It is easy to assemble, and once set up, the surround gate was sturdy and sound, and the walk-through gate swings both ways for quick access. Fold up the panels and use the handle to carry and transport, just make sure you have a little muscle. --Scott Teal

We bought one of these play yards for our baby daughter and it was so handy we bought a second one. They are great for both indoor and outdoor use. It's great to have somewhere safe to put the little one when they are mobile. A definite must have for little ones on the go!

I bought two, one for me and one for my daughter. My grandson of 16 months wasn't in the playyard 5 minutes when he pushed the whole thing across the room. I saw that it would collapse on him so I took him out. There is no way to secure it to the floor when used inside the house. Perhaps it could be staked in the ground outside to prevent movement. However, we're using it as a fence to block off an area but I wouldn't leave a child unattended. My grandson can move the fence out of the way with no problems.

I have an in home daycare. I have a variety of ages. The little ones are always getting into the big kids things. The babies also needed a "safe" space away from the toddlers. This item is sturdy and easy to open. I have used it as a room divider, but only if something is behind it supporting it. It would fall over if stretched all the way out. I am very pleased with it. I have ordered the extension kit to give the kids a little more room.
You do have to watch and make sure the older ones do not climb on it. They have tried.
I think it is worth the money.

i got this today and put it together very easily...it's easy to open the gate, and it's easy to fold up when you need it out of the way

This is a great play yard which has a nice amount of room for my daughter to play in, especially with the extender pieces I bought. I also like that it is taller than most play yards.
