Reliable and quick bottle warmer - C. Scanlan, Mar 01, 2008
I was a little anxious about buying this bottle warmer because of the negative reviews, but I'm so glad I did! I specifically wanted this one because we use glass (BPA- and plastic-free!) bottles, and I needed something with flexibility and girth.
It is easy to slip the bottle in, adjust the velcro strap to make it tight-fitting, and then to push the bottle size button, and then the on button. The first time I used it I pushed the bottle down too far and it made the top of the glass hot. However, I make sure that the bottle is in correctly, and once it's going, the whole setup sits securely in the cupholder in our car.
Within 10 minutes the bottle is perfect and ready for a nice warm meal on these frigid days!
I would highly recommend this car bottle warmer for use with any bottles.

I have been using this product for over two months now and it never failed me once. I heat up my sons 8 oz Similac ready the feed nursers in our car (Land Rover) in about 4 minutes. However in sisters car ( Honda )it takes about 15 minutes to warm up. So it must vary by car.

I registered for this item and received it as a gift, why, I don't know. I never really even travel by car too often. I decided to try it out one time I did travel, my son was 4 months old.. I plugged it in and waited and waited and waited and the item never ever heated up. It just remained cold. I tried to take it back to Babies R Us but the return time had already passed so they wouldn't take it back. My advice on this item is, don't buy it, even if it does work, you will probably never use it.

We purchased this warmer for the long car trips we planned this summer and were excited to find on that looked flexible enough to accomodate Avent bottles and fairly compact. I read the other reviews and decided even though some were bad, they may have been flukes. Well, the first time we used it, it worked great. However, it never worked again after that. We tried it in both of our cars, and followed the instructions exactly - by pushing both buttons. I only give it one star because zero wasn't an option. We were very unhappy and had to think quickly to come up with an alternative warming solution 4 hours into our trip. Do NOT buy this product.

The product heats my bottles up evenly enough,however, I was a little dissapointed as to the length of time it took to heat one up. 5oz. took almost 7 minutes. When you have a hungry baby,every second counts.
