Toilet locks, also known as toilet lid locks or toilet seat locks, are child-proofing safety devices that keep toilet lids down so that curious children do not accidentally fall into the bowl or flush down their toys. Good toilet locks are easy to install and are difficult for children to open.
A typical clamp toilet lock consists of a base clamp that securely covers the toilet bowl and an upper jaw that locks over the lid.
They are very durable and do not scratch the surface of the toilet lid and bowl.
Latch toilet locks
A typical latch toilet lock consists of a base installed on the toilet bowl (using an adhesive) and a strap attached to the toilet lid (also using an adhesive). The strap is clipped to the latch to lock the toilet lid to the bowl.
Latch toilet locks are very versatile. They can also be used for locking refrigerators and cabinets.
