A triple stroller has three separate seats for seating three infants or toddlers. If you have triplets or three small children close in age, then this is the type of stroller for you.
The three seats of a tandem triple stroller are positioned one in front of each other. Tandems have the same width as single strollers, making them easy to maneuver in tight spaces such as doorways and hallways. However, the front and middle seats cannot be reclined. Also, tandems let only the child in front get a clear view of the surroundings. They are best for toddlers.
Side-by-side triple strollers
A side-by-side triple stroller positions the children beside each other, allowing interaction and also letting them have unobstructed view of their surroundings. The seats can usually be reclined seats, making them usable for babies. However, side-by-side triple strollers are hard to maneuver in tight spaces and two-way sidewalks because they are too wide.
Brakes: Choose a triple stroller with a hand brake for slowing down and a foot brake for permanently stopping. Without these features, it can be hard to control the stroller especially when going downhill
