Cotton shawls are essentially one-piece rectangular or triangular cotton fabrics draped over the shoulders, head, or upper body. They are available in plain and colored styles, and are usually inexpensive compared to shawls made of other types of fabrics. Some cotton shawls have or fringed edges that can be adorned with beads, jewels, and crystals.
