Used as an alternative to a wallet, a money clip is a thin and lightweight device designed to wedge bills and card between its fold. It is usually made of metal and leather (or a combination).
A Metal Money Clip consists of a solid piece of metal folded into two. The bills are wedged in between the fold. It is usually made of gold, silver, stainless steel, titanium, and platinum. The metal clip is usually inflexible, thus it cannot hold a large amount of cash.
Magnetic money clip
A Magnetic Money Clip consists of two rectangular magnets encased in leather. The two magnets are separated by a piece of leather, allowing them to swivel in an open or closed position. It can hold a greater amount of cash than a metal money clip.
Hybrid money clip
A Hybrid Money Clip is designed for holding cash and credit cards. It usually consists of a credit card holder and a swivel magnetic clip found at the backside.
