It came exactly as it looked in the picture. Something that I didn't want that the hat came with is that on the very top ridge and on the brim, there is a cloth or something there blocking out light in between the holes made by the straws. Maybe it's just because I'm weird but I've always liked the light coming in through the holes. One thing I didn't expect that I did like is the stretchy material around the head so that it fits snugly, it keeps the hat comfortable but keeps it on tightly.

I had bought this straw hat because I wanted to make a special sports hat for my husband. If anyone buys this hat because of the colored fabric band that's around the hat, you should know that this fabric is only hot-glued on it. It will easily come off. I took it off in no time and was able to place my own material on it. It served the purpose for which I bought it for. Overall,it was a good deal and I got the hat right away. It's for both male and female.
