Works with both windoze and Linux. Much faster than another USB-Serial interface we have.

This one does. I have a Belkin which can Blue Screen my machine. This is so well known that Microsoft seems to know about this. You find this out after the Blue Screen. MSoft directs you to a site for a fix. The site is no longer up. Not MSoft's fault.
The Aten has worked where others do not. Particularly with Crestron equipment.
