Rating : Just what I needed - Phill Pafford, Sep 11, 2009
Works great with Mac OSX and iMovie with importing video from a mini vhs camera
Rating : Life Saver - nick b., Jun 10, 2009
Man oh man, this cable is awesome. If it wasn't for this cable I don't know if I would be typing this review on Amazon. A couple months ago I was strolling through the coast and got caught in some quicksand. As I sunk deeper and deeper I started to worry that I wouldn't make it out of there. I reached in my pocket and pulled out my Belkin BKNAV2200106 PureAV Digital Camcorder FireWire Cable FireWire 4-Pin to 6-Pin 6 Feet cable and lassoed a low hanging branch and pulled myself back up. Luckily I filmed the whole thing and quickly transfer it to my Macbook using the Belkin BKNAV2200106 PureAV Digital Camcorder FireWire Cable FireWire 4-Pin to 6-Pin 6 Feet cable which worked like a champ. Unfortunately, the MacBook was smashed and destroyed by a giant Gorilla, so the video was lost but don't worry the cable was saved.
Rating : Solid construction and performance - H. Murchison, Feb 16, 2009
I purchased this cable to go from my Canon DV Camcorder to my Mac for editing video. I've imported video and used this cable to daisychain to the back of a Western Digital FW HDD with no problems.
It's build solidly and you cannot miss it with it's somewhat offbeat coloring.
I'd certainly purchase this cable again for future needs. I got a great price on it as well.
Rating : Clear Sharp Pristine Image Transfer - Johanna Raupe, Nov 16, 2008
Excellent quality images transferred from my video camera. Connection quality was excellent. The computer immediately recognized the device. I experienced no issues with this cable or image degradation.
Rating : Good connection but delicate... - Mikebike, Nov 11, 2008
Bought this to hook up our video camera to the PC. Found that the smaller end that plugs into the camera is quite fragile. The plastic cracked within the first few uses. The cable works fine, I just don't see the connector lasting much longer.
