Rating : Do Not Buy this cable from Technology Galaxy - Andrew W. Lee, Nov 18, 2009
The item costs $9 but they will charge you $16 shipping and handling. When I complained to Amazon they said I can return the merchandise but shipping and handling is not refundable. This Technology Galaxy will rip you off in a heart beat. I would give them a minus zero rating if there was a star for that in the rating system.
Rating : It works. - C. Gurley, Oct 22, 2009
It was cheap but the product was built with quality. The housing is thick and it works perfectly.
Rating : Does the job - Jupe, Oct 11, 2009
I needed cables to hook up my old LaCie drive to my new MacBook Pro and this did the job
Rating : Meets the need - Turp, Sep 20, 2009
The cable is a fairly thick one, it wants to keep the original folded shape.
The cable fits well in my laptop and was able to transfer data from several drives with no issue.
The 4pin firewire side is a small connector, so be careful not to snap it off or break the laptop connector.
I do not think this is an issue with this cable, but the 4 pin connector size and design.
For the price, I would purchase this cable again.
Rating : Great cable :) - Rodolfo Felipe, Sep 15, 2009
I had been struggling with USB streaming with my camera. Then moved to vista and my usb driver was not supported. Got this cable and everything worked out of the box.
No drivers needed. Just plug & play.
Firewire is also a LOT faster. Movies are transferred sooooo fast now. Can't believe I didn't get this thing before. ^_^
