This printer is a good value for $69.95. I have had it 3 months and have had no problems. I sent and received some faxes and it worked fine. I have read the fax machine has trouble when you have the printer on and your phone rings. I have had no problem with that. I do not leave the printer on a whole lot . May be thats why I did not have that problem some people complained about. The printer makes good color copies. It does a good job of scanning also. I like the software that came with it. Its pretty easy to use. The printer is sort of big , it takes up alot of space. I have not printed a whole lot of copies so I can't comment on how much ink it uses. Not sure what ink cartridges cost either. For what you pay for it its a good value. Its so convenant to make a copy of something at home without having to drive up to a photo copy place to copy something. Its worth it to have one at home. So far good for me.

I've used several different types of multi-function printers over the years. And without a doubt, this is easily the least intuitive one I've ever encountered.

I purchased it mostly for the faxing and scanning capabilities -- I already had a basic printer -- but those parts of the operation are unnecessarily confusing.

I've spent a few hours figuring out the most basic functions ... when in retrospect, I should have just gotten a basic scanner/fax machine.

If you don't have much spare time, this may not be the printer for you.

This product was easy to set up. Only problem is that yiou must supply your own usb cable. other wise it is a snap.. I have used all the components and it preforms all task excellently

The printer has had problems since I bought it. After 2 months it no longer prints it keeps pulling the paper to the side or not pull the paper through at all while it still seems like it's printing and wasting ink. Do not waste your money. I called Canon and they said I could send it in because it seems when the printer is moved from one location to another the paper rollers can get off track causing the paper to pull side ways. By the time I mail the printer in I might as well go by another, what a waste of money.

I really liked this printer. It was larger than I expected, but it is worth it. Very easy to use.
