I wish I had read the reviews BEFORE purchasing this item. I bought two of them and obviously spent a lot of money. I knew before they arrived that they would not work. I was not disappointed. They are counterfeit. I am assuming that is the problem. They do not work and you cannot do anything about it. I have not even tried. I read all of the other reviews about this and know that I have been HAD. I will know better next time. Do not order them from Amazon. I am a PRIME member, but I know when to use my brain! This item apparently is almost impossible to order and KNOW it will be truly from the manufacturer and not the black market. And, for whatever reason Amazon does not step in and stand up for this product. You are on your own - BUYER BEWARE!

I own two of these keys and have had to send both of them back to Kingston for replacement due to failure related to the connection between the PCB and the metal shoe.
I'm not rough with my devices and take care in handling them since I depend on them for my work.

There is not enough support on the metal connector internally to handle the insert and extraction forces from plugging into the USB port. The device is very fragile. If you choose to own one, purchase a USB extension cable to use with it, to prevent stress on the connector causing a loose connection and failure of the device. The slide cover that slips over the connector also tends to slip back and forth when you don't want it to.

This key needs a better case design for the money that you spend on it. The Sandisk Cruzer Contour case is a much better design for this format.

Would I buy another one? No, it has already cost me more than it's worth in time and aggravation due to the failures and loss of data.

I was a worried about the speed when I bought this because usually larger capacity = slower speed. However, I am very pleased with the speed. It feels about 3-4 times faster than the OCZ Rally 2 32GB flash drive I was using before when writing and overwriting files and about 1.5 to 2 times faster when loading files. The same document that takes 15 seconds to overwrite on the OCZ 32GB will take about 4 seconds on the Kingston 64GB. I am very satisfied with the speed of this drive.

I have been a great fan of SanDisks forever (around 10 items) and this is my second Kingston flash drive after my 1GB Kingston. They are solid and good speed. This one comes with a high speed which satisfy me as a flashdrive.
The slider is kind of loose which make this unit not a pocket flash drive because the slider may move in your pocket. But a perfect one if you want to use your own Lanyard(it doesn't come with one) to hang it from your neck.

all in all, I like the speed and design and color of it and I guess there is nothing to complain about.

It's a great item but maybe can be just a little smaller and the password traveler software is not a fast tool.
