The new Logitech S-220 Speaker System contains several upgrades to its predecessor, the S-200 Speaker System. Unlike the S-200, the new S-220 encompasses increased usability with a newly styled control base to manage improved acoustics, volume and VoIP connectivity. Bass tuning by the end user is often permanent once a setting is established. With the end-user experience at the forefront of Logitech¿s design strategy to minimize desk clutter the S-220 bass control is located directly on the subwoofer. This allows the end user to tune the speaker system with no concerns for any accidental control adjustments. I love these speakers! This is the third time I've bought this product. I used one for my computer, one I hook up to my projector, and the other I use in a gym teaching children. They work perfect with my iPod. I'll probably buy this or a similar version again, and I've already recommended it to several other people. Perfect for the price!

speakers produce such clear sound and very loud!!! The bass is excellent..i use this item as a mini surround sound system and it works perfectly...cant believe what a deal this was!!

This is a great, nice sounding, simple speaker set. This is the third set of Logitech computer speakers I own. The sound is rich and the bass is crisp -- all for only $25?!?! Wonderful!

I purchased these through amazon based on reviews suggesting that they were 'exceptional' speakers. They are not. They are too small to provide the type of filling sound for which I was looking.

I also under estimated how show the power cable is. It barely ran from one side of my desktop around the back to the power supply, which luckily is sitting on my desk. Seriously, the cable is like 1 foot long. This also prevented me from turning the sub woofer so that the output faces the room.

The one nice feature was that there was a bass adjustment knob on the back of the sub woofer. Unfortunately, when I turn it up it starts to rattle.

If you want serious sound, these fall short.

These speakers, for the price, are unbeatable. They sound great!! At first they seemed a little small out of the box, but they sure can pack a punch and get quite loud. The subwoofer too, the bass is a LOT better than I expected it to be. It is actually REALLY good. A full range of sound, no weak spots. The little volume control remote attached to the wires comes in handy too, the volume is a circular dial, and it also extends the length of the speaker wires, so they don't have to be directly next to your computer. These speakers are perfect for my laptop, as its built-in speakers don't get very loud. The sound quality is exceptional. I'm very happy I purchased these.
