Reasonable price, and mouse works great. One slight detriment is that because I never unplug the USB receiver and slide it into the bottom of the mouse when I'm done working, I ought to use the tiny switch to turn the mouse off manually every time, to make the battery last longer. However, I'm not very good at remembering to do it! I haven't downloaded the software yet, so I haven't tried the extra features like sideways scrolling. In the reviews I read, people complained that it wasn't clear which way the battery should be inserted, but I found it to be no problem at all.

Good, rugged mouse. Nice size - not too big or too small. It has a good feel with the rubber grips on the sides. You have to download the mouse fine tuning software off the Logitech website, but you need it to adjust the features. You also get a nice zoom feature that is activated when you click the wheel. I can sit back on the couch and put my laptop on the coffee table and zoom in to read text. I've had it about 4 months and it still has the original battery. Overall, I doubt you could beat it for the price.

Picked this cordless mouse up for my Acer laptop about 2 months ago. It functions well so far. The battery certainly did not last me 6 months -- maybe 5 or 6 weeks. I bought a RTS space game, too, and have played it obsessively for hours on end, so it's not surprising that the batter did not last long, I guess. Still, not exactly what was promised. Plus, when the battery was dying, the cursor was very jerky and scrolling difficult. There's not any particular indication that I saw that said the battery needs changing, which would be nice. I had a cordless Logitech mouse before that did do that, I think. But this one only takes one AA battery instead of two, so I'm not gonna complain. It feels nice and functions well, overall. The separate USB receiver is not overly wide, so it does allow another device to be attached to a USB port next to it.

The Logitech lads did not disappoint with this cordless mouse. I have used some brands of cordless mouse where even a passing vehicle generated an interference! Not with this tiny wonder. It works exactly like your traditional mouse but without the ubiquitous irritating cord. I have actually ordered for yet another one for my laptop.
