This is an ok camera. I havent had a web camera for about 5 years and this camera is only mildly better than that one. Videos are ok, a little choppy so if you plan on moving...beware. the sound is excellent though. The pictures are grainy and dont compare to cameras in laptops like Mac. You pretty much have to be right next to a window mid day to get a good picture without it looking cheap.
I say if you want it as a just in case you want to video chat type of camera...good choice. If you have a vlog or do a lot of important video chats I'd upgrade.

Easy to follow instruction guide and to get working. Worked well when I communicated with my son via AOL instant messenger. Haven't tried to use with any other application yet. It is amazing.

I downloaded Windows Live Messenger as was recommended. It took forever to download but since then I haven't had any problems with it. The web cam is easy to use and the picture and microphone are good. The only disappointing feature is that the clip to my laptop isn't as good as I thought it would be. Otherwise I'm happy with the NX-3000

I've heard a lot of complaints about the clip on the back... but I think that it is built very well and I have no concerns about it breaking. The camera itself does its job... its not a super high quality image but for the price you shouldn't be expecting that. This camera is perfect for me because I use it to talk to my friends (who are away at different colleges) and to my cousins who are studying abroad. If you want a good webcam for a good price, get this one.

all i can say is even with a weak connection this webcam has performed better than many of the others i have bought and used and it is easy to use and install i say all around good camera
