I bought this item as a reconditioned unit and only paid $34.43 with shipping for this modem. It didn't come with drivers but my Windows XP recognized it immediatley. It works very well and I am satisfied with this purchase.

The SB5120 cable modem is easy to setup and have been getting the fasttest downloads that I have ever gotten. Much faster than any of my older modems. The downloads are great. It was easy and fast to set up. Works great with my wireless network. I bought it to replace the motorla modem my cable company had been renting me. Should pay for itself in less than 5 months. Have had motorla modems before and never had any problems with them.

Modem was easy to install.One 5 minute call to Charter Cable to give them the MAC address printed on the sticker on the modem and I was up and running. Doubled my average download speed over my old Linksys cable modem.
