Rating : The "PROSELLER" Is a Con Artist! - C. Champion-stucker, Dec 31, 2008
I bought this product, it arrived in less than 24 hours, and it was the wrong thing. They sent me a black hunk of plastic and it wouldn't read a card or anything. It looked like they handwrit pny on it with a crayon. It took a while for me to get a refund.
Rating : Didn't work at all - J. LaFour, Oct 02, 2008
Dead On Arrival. Tried it on a brand new PC as well as an older one. What makes it more irritating is the fact that it is so cheap, it is almost ridiculous to try and return it. Waste of time.

Works fine. No read or write problem. I'm using SmartMedia 128MB Card. Transfering musical data. Haven't experienced the poor card fit into the reader. Maybe mine is an updated version. Looks a little different than advertised picture. Own three.

This reader works for me using Ubuntu Linux 7.10. The reader is used to read cards from a Olympus C3030 zoom camera and it works great! Linux found and mounted the card reader as another drive with no issues.

I had the same problem with the card dropping inside however it really isn't a major problem. The enclosure slot is a bit too large and the card can slide in above the tracks that hold the card in place. If it was an expensive unit, I'd be disappointed with this flaw but I bought it specifically because it was cheap. It works and I'm happy with it.
