This would have been a great keyboard protector if it fit my MacBook Pro,
I have the latest version MBP and it will not fit.
Also the F keys are mislabeled.

so if you just bought the new MBP wait for the next version of this product.

This keyboard cover does what it says and fits it pretty well, but I couldn't use it anymore than two minutes. It has a strange texture to it -it feels like the inside of a powdery hospital glove. Every time I tried to type on it I had to keep rubbing my fingers together and the feeling of it it drove me so crazy I had to take it off right away. So, if you don't like that glove or powdery feel, I would recommend passing on this product.

I like the way this thing feels. My concerns are:

1. that it might mark the screen when laptop is closed, so I always remove it before closing.

2. wonder about high temps

This product does what it is intended to do...keep the keyboard clean. However, it doesn't truly conform to the keyboard as advertised. Typing feels a bit odd at first. All in all, I would recommend this though.

I bought this because even though I don't eat popcorn or crusty sandwich breads atop my keyboard, somehow something always manages to get in there. Bottled air is great for getting dust out but it sometimes just moves the big stuff around.

PROS:
The cover has a really nice soft feel to it when I type. It lessens the click-click sounds (especially with long fingernails) and just gives it a nice cushiony feel to the keyboard.

It's keeping out dust, dirt, crumbs, whatever else. My son uses the laptop almost daily and every once in a while I'll remove the cover just to see how clean the keys still are.

You can see the lit keys beneath it, and still see the letters when they aren't lit.

It doesn't leave marks on the screen when I close the laptop lid, which I was concerned about for some reason. (I think another review somewhere said that.)

CONS:
It isn't free. :)


All in all, I'd probably never go without one of these again.
