Product Description

RAM No-Drill laptop stand system installs quickly, easily and securely into the specified vehicle using the existing hardware of the passenger side seat rails. The system includes the vehicle specific base, RAM Tele-Pole for vertical adjustment, RAM double swing arm system for horizontal adjustment, and the RAM universal Tough Tray for laptops 12-17? wide. This system provides a stable platform for laptop use by the driver or passenger. The RAM Tough Tray includes four side clamping adjustable rubber coated fingers to accommodate many different sizes and configurations of laptops. The edges of the tray come predrilled with holes to accommodate the mounting of other RAM systems to mount GPS, cell phones, PDA etc. This system is compatible with the following vehicles: Ford Excursion (2000-Newer), All Ford F series trucks up to F-750 (1999-Newer). RAM No-Drill mounting System for Lap Tops - K26kv, Nov 18, 2009

Very easy to install. I took off the front bolts of the passenger seat and slid the No-Drill plate into place then installed the rest of the bracket. It took me about a half an hour to install and to have the computer up and running in my work truck. I bought the RAM System because I have seen it in other utility/construction type vehicals that get a lot of heavy use. It is sturdy and easy to use, just loosen the knobs at the knuckle areas and the lap top swings into place so you can easily work on the computer. The grabbing pieces on the sides are movable so you can set them up so you can still have access to the card readers and DVD/CD drives on the side of the computer. The spring that holds your lap top to the table is strong and I haven't had and problem with the computer slipping around on the table despite driving on some rough roads that are under construction. I also bought the printer stand and a portable printer so I can do most of my work out in the field and not at the office.
