So far, the Sony combo CRX320AD CD-RW & DVD ROM appears to be an excellent drive. I installed it on an aging Sony PCV-RX560 PC, and it helped bring new life back into it. The choice of two different face plate colors helped blend the drive into the color scheme of the PC (black blended in fine), and while the drive design was somewhat different than the original drive, it still fit satisfactorily into the drive bay for the eject button to work flawlessly. Electronically, the drive seemed to perform beautifully as soon as it was installed. There were no driver problems; Windows XP recognized the drive immediately. Now the entire PC runs better. I also purchased the CRX230AE CD-RW drive, and it runs equally well. Why not have two great running drives? I've had excellent luck with Sony PC products.

It works really well and Im satisfied, you can call me picky but I bought a black case and this CD-RW doesnt look cool with it, cause its beige...and I bought it for the fact that it says it has interchangeble front bezels Beige or black...and it didnt include it in the box, im dissapointed from that aspect...

I'm very happy with this product. Originally my system had a CD-RW drive and a DVD-RW drive. However when I got Call of Duty 4 on DVD it wouldn't play in my DVD-RW drive becuase of the copyright software. So I ordered this DVD-Rom drive to replace my CD-RW drive.
Installation was very easy and replacing the front cover to black was a snap. Windows detected and installed it without having do a thing, works great with all my existing dvd's and cd's. If your looking for a quality DVD-Rom drive then I would highly recommend this one.

Bought this for my son for Christmas, put it right in - software install was very easy. Drivers were no issue. Overall, we are VERY happy with this item. He was watching DVD movies in a matter of minutes! Great drive.
