Tripp Lite's PS3612 power strip offers 15 amp, 120V multi-outlet AC power distribution in a convenient 36 inch mountable housing. Offers horizontal or vertical power distribution in rackmount, raceway and workbench applications. Includes 12 NEMA 5-15R output receptacles with 2.638 inch center-to-center spacing, 15 ft AC line cord and lighted power switch with locking transparent cover to prevent accidental shutoff. Sturdy all-metal extruded aluminum housing stands up to demanding network, laboratory or factory environments.

I purchased this strip to be mounted upside down under an IKEA Jerker desk (now discontinued). The clips are screwed into an extruded aluminum cross beam. With the weight of the AC converter bricks, they obviously won't stay in upside down. I have them zip-tied in place and the plugs are spaced apart far enough that I've not run into any crowding issues. I'd imagine many or larger power converters could be extended to the strip so you don't crowd them. With all but 2 ports occupied, the clips are strong enough to hold everything in upside down for nearly a year now. Quality is sound and I'd recommend this to anyone needing one.

The major drawback to this item is that the outlets are mounted 90° from where they should be. As almost all wall warts plug in with the cord between the blades of the plug, that means when plugged into this strip the cords are in-line with the strip instead of at right angles to it as they should be. For this reason, even though the outlets are wide apart the cord still blocks the next outlet in line so I can only use half of them.

Great product. I use the Tripp-Lite power strip for my pedal board for my electric guitar set up. I would love to buy a couple more for my computer and TV set up as well. Seems to be well made. I love the spacing of the outlets. The spacing is great for all the AC adaptors that are used with effects pedals. The product was shipped to me within a week and was in good shape.

Strip provides easy access to multiple outlets while working at my workbench so that I can keep multiple tools plugged in at the same time.

This is an excellent, metal power bar. It has a red indicator light and more than enough sturdy AC inputs (12) for the average bench top. The cord is extra long. I got this strip for a good sale price, too.
