It can be very frustrating when you want a pc product and cannot find it via the usual retail outlets. It appeared that it may have been discontinued, but a friend recommended that I search in Amazon and there it was.

I have not bought much from Amazon, but have found them to be a very good source for things that are not easily available via retail outlets.

I have been looking for an Under monitor surge protector because it makes better control of what your using or not using.
I had one before but found i could not locate a new one till i found this one, works great and was a good price.

This device is old school and build solid. Push button on-off for multiple outlets lets me turn on and off individual devices as needed while not wearing out the flimsy power buttons on my LCD screens.

Excellent idea: black color matches other stuff; orderly means to keep cables out of the way, appearance neat. BUT--I had the same trouble as others reported: The master switch "froze" in the 'on' position after short time. Replacement failed identically (I had purchased two--both crashed in just a few months.) I kept them, though: with a hokey workaround---plug the Tripp-Lite into a switched power strip and use this switch as the 'master.' Clumsy, maybe, but preserves the convenience of the other switches. Incidentally, Tripp-Lite was nonresponsive to my complaint. I would buy another, since it's the only product of its kind in this price range, but I would count on adding a power strip when the master switch failed. Clearly there's a bug here---
