I use this mouse pad with my Apple optical mightymouse. I really like how thin and sleek it feels on my desk, almost like you're not using anything at all. The mouse moves very smoothly. I can't rate it very high though because it wears out on me after about a month of daily use. I work at home and use it about 8 - 9 hours a day. No matter how I follow the cleaning instructions, the slippery surface just seems to wear away and get rough. So I just buy a couple at a time and keep replacing them.
Rating : Excellent Mouse Pad! - cg_dangergirl, Sep 17, 2009
I have a wooden desktop and a Logitech v320 optical mouse. This mouse pad rules uber alles.
Pros:
Near-frictionless surface. I can see why they patented this, it's like your mouse is floating on air.
Wafer thin.
Sticky sticky sticky. I don't understand reviews that assert this thing slides around, the non-skid back works like adhesive on my wood desk. The packaging recommends washing the surface with glass cleaner or soap & water to restore stickiness, maybe that's what's needed?
Cons:
NONE
Love this mouse pad.
Rating : Not so WOW - Thomas Gossard, Jun 21, 2009
Add my voice to the growing list of complaints about it sliding all around on the desk. Says you can wash it off and it will stick again, but that's not true. It's thin, but so what? If it slides around, it's useless.
Rating : Great pad for laser mice! - Sean Hicks, May 19, 2009
Best mouse pad, period! That is, of course, unless you like having decorative mouse pads with puppies and rainbows and flowers and unicorns and a place to put photos of you and your boyfriend on your last vacation. Otherwise, this is a no frills pad that does exactly what it is supposed to!
Rating : Could be better... - C. DeLoach, May 14, 2009
First, the things I like about this pad is that it has a very thin surface and is very easy to clean. However, as others have reported, my mouse cursor often jumps. I though I needed a new mouse and bought a new one. I still have the problem. It seems to jump only if the grid is not parallel to the desk. If the grid is at an angle, the mouse jumps. Unfortunately the sticky back is not very tacky which causes the pad to move an rotate very easily.
