Unlike UHF models, Single Sideband CB Radios operate noisily. Single sideband radios are ideal for adult hobbyists and drivers of four-wheel drive vehicles.
AM CB Radios
AM CB Radios are the cheapest types of CB radios available. They can be used by children and drivers of four-wheel drive vehicles, caravans, and trucks. AM radios only have a short range, about a few kilometers from one vehicle to another. They operate noisily. |
