A DVD recorder is an electronic device designed for recording TV programs, movies, and other videos onto DVD discs. It is available with one DVD slot that can record from the television only or two DVD slots that enable the recording from a CD or another DVD. It can record up to six hours onto a regular 4.7 gigabyte blank DVD. Most models can serve as DVD, audio CD, and video CD players when not used as recorders.
