Kinds of iPod Headphones include the following:

Corded iPod headphones

A typical corded iPod headphone has a long cord with one end attached to the headphone and the other head (with a headphone jack) connected to the iPod unit. Corded iPod headphones can be worn over the head, behind the neck, or clipped to the ears. Some models come in earbud types that fit snugly in both ear canals.

Wireless iPod headphones

Wireless iPod headphones use Infrared (IR) technology to transmit audio signals from the iPod unit to the headphones. They have small infrared transmitters that can send out signals up to 20 feet away. They can be powered by batteries or electricity.

Most wireless iPod headphones come in earclip types.
