Household power can be tainted by refrigerators and other appliances, fluorescent lights, and digital components like your DVD player. This "dirty" power can come in the form of electromagnetic or radio-frequency interference and can shorten the life of your equipment.

Using Phase 2 PureFilter Circuitry with isolated video and audio filters, the PF30L cleans up this "noise" and provides clean power to all your equipment. Is this a power conditioner or power station, big isn't the word and heavy. It is 20 1/4" long, 5 1/4" wide and 2 1/2" thick. The shipping weight was listed at 11 lbs. and that wasn't packing material. Does it work, i hope never have to find out if you get what i mean.

I needed a power conditioner for my HDTV and after checking out a lot of other units this one was the best.It is well built not a plastic box with outlets it has some weight.The 10 outlets are labeled and switched for what needs to be on all the time.If you spend $$$$ for a HDTV why buy a cheap power strip to protect it.Well worth every cent!Sony Bravia XBR KDL-40XBR4 40" 1080p LCD HDTV

I had heard that good clean power would help with HD picture, so when I came across the PF20 for a third of the retail price I figured I would give it a shot. It is big, but it looks good too. I have it mounted where you can see it, and the green and blue LED's look good with the rest of my setup. As far as helping the picture, my wife even sees a difference, and if she can tell then there is definitely a change. Of course I may just have really "dirty" power, but I really should have gotten one the day I bought my 52" Sony LCD. Analog channels look better and digital channels are cleaner. You know how the edges on text can look a little jagged, even on the HD channels, well I don't really have a problem with it now. I can't promise that this unit will do the same for you, but at least you will have one high quality surge protector that looks good.

First this thing is BIG! But it is easy to install out of the way. If you can't hide it thats not a problem since it looks like it belongs with all the hi-tech equipment you want to protect. Make sure you can reach the reset button wherever you put it. So far no problems. Belkins rep is great and I have never had any problems with their products. On the level of Monster at much better price.
