Metal halide projector lamps

• Metal halide projector lamps emit clear, white light.
• They are uses in newer projector models.
• They can be used for up to 2,000 hours when used in standard projector mode and up to 3,000 hours in the economy mode.
  
• The more expensive metal halide projector lamps called UHP or ultra high performance lamps offer low wattage.

Compatibility: Make sure the projector lamp you purchase can be used with your projector model. An older projector usually requires an inexpensive halogen lamp, while a new one should be used with the more expensive metal halide lamp.

Lamp life: If you intend to use your projector for regular meetings, conferences, and lectures, choose one that uses a metal halide projector lamp that offers 3,000 hours of light when used in the economy mode. For occasional use only, choose a projector that uses a halogen lamp.
