Magnifying Lamp : What is it?
| Magnifying lamps are viewing equipment composed of a fluorescent bulb and a magnifying lamp used for making objects look bigger. They are made with weighted bases and swing arms. They are commonly used by people with poor vision and those whose jobs require them to view objects up close for investigative purposes. They are available in clamp-on, rolling, and slim types. |
|

Kinds of Magnifying Lamps include the following: |

- They are made with five-diopter magnifying lenses made of pure glass.
Rolling magnifying lamps
- Rolling magnifying lamps have five built-in caster wheels at the bottom that allow maximum mobility.
- They are made with five-diopter magnifying lenses made of pure glass.

Add-on lens: For extra magnification, choose a magnifying lamp that you can equip with another diopter lens.
Field of view: Choose a magnifying lamp with a large field of view if you want to see large portions of the object you want to magnify. If you want higher magnification, look for a magnifying lamp with a more powerful magnification power. However, remember that as magnification increases, the field of view decreases.
Power: To get powerful magnification, choose a magnifying glass that is at least 2X. The larger the number, the larger the viewed object becomes.
