Easier to get thru narrow doors and navigate spaces (especially when shopping or at restaurants). When folded, takes up very little space. Quite lightweight so easy to lift in and out of cars. Highly recommended. However, may not be the walker of choice if you have a lot of balance problems (this caution is for all 3-wheeled walkers). In that case, you will be better off with a wider 4-wheeled (more stable) walker.
