I have tried to shave with disposable razors. I have tried electric shavers. They tear up my face. I used to love to get a shave from my barber with his straight edge. Since the onset of AIDS it's impossible to find barbers who will give you that old fashioned shave. Such a luxury! I miss it.
So, I'm forced to continue to use my old safety razor. It gets harder and harder to find blades for it. I have used this brand on and off over the years. I'm looking for blades that give a good, sharp shave and retain their edge. It's more economical to be able to shave 2 or 3 times with the same blade. These blades are just adequate for the first shave. They get dull fast. A second shave can become a bloodbath. I discard them after the first go. Too bad. A good blade is hard to come by.
